The destruction of Pujada Bay would significantly means the destruction of lives who relied on that bay. I do hope that the philippine authority(who could NEVER give a livelihood to nearby communities)shall cancel all MPSAs.

@Roy Davies and Agdon--Allowing BHP in is like committing suicide. For whatever will be delivered by BHP that can assure, 100 PERCENT, the protection of the environment and the health of the people?

Perhaps, the word environment and health of the people is too vague for you because all that's eating your morals now is the huge money that you and your bosses will rake should BHB successfuly makes its way in,digging the mineral resources of Macambol while desecrating sacred grounds--the Hamihuitan range and the Pujada Bay.

What prosperity are u talking about Mr. Roy Davies? Is that synonymous to destruction? For crying out loud, look at what happened to Rapu-Rapu and tell me if you can you call that prosperity.

And Agdon, I wonder how you can't be all praises to the company that has been feeding you for the last four months. Sure, you are more than willing to lick your lord's asses.

Yeah, let us all be open-minded to all these...why don't we open the option to not at all allow BHP come in?

Allowing BHPB to operate in our country would be a good thing. Like Roy Davies said it would help improve our economic status and provide jobs to Filipinos living in the area. BHPB, a leading diversified resources company in the world, has a strong commitment to sustainable development and assuring that the environment, as well as the health and safety of the community, are not being set aside in their operations. How could I say these things? Because I have been working in the company for the last 4 months and have proven, even as a newcomer, the above-mentioned. Also, BHPB is an equal opportunity employer and hires people based on their skills and potentials. With all these said, I believe that we all should be open-minded with the possibility of BHPB operating in the Philippines. ***What I have written is not the company's stand but my own.***
